Steve-O

After giving up on his dream to pursue an exotic dancing career in Liberia in the mid 90’s, Steve decided to form a cover band. One of his first bands “Probable Cause”, tore it up in clubs all over North Georgia from 1995 through 2002. He played drums, bass guitar, rhythm guitar and lead vocals during the 7 year stretch. "I’m shocked club owners paid us to get drunk and break stuff (including ourselves) during this era but they did. Our favorite quote before doing a shot was “Take That Liver!” At least we were entertaining!" His next band “Brown Bottle Courage” played primarily in Helen Ga. as a house band every other weekend at Paul’s on the River from 2002 through 2007. Helen passed 7 new city ordinances during BBC’s reign including one specific to “No open flame of any kind in any establishment that serves alcohol”. The best that he can remember no one was permanently injured making flaming Dr. Peppers! Does anyone remember Oktoberfest 2007? Then in 2008 after having his “key to the city revoked by the mayor of Helen” Steve decided he needed to find a kick ass Atlanta band and join up. "Ran across an ad that said “Jager sponsored party rock band seeks rowdy front man who aint skeered!” or something like that… I thought a rock band that gets free Jager??? Hellz Yea!" So Steve joined up with Reality Check in 2008 and although they did tear it up all over the Atlanta music scene, there was no free Jager Then in the spring of 2012 a few band members decided to start up some tribute band projects and put RC on a relaxed schedule. Knowing he could never survive without his rock fix he quickly picked up his rotary phone and (ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip, click, click, click, click, click, click) – (You know the sound a rotary phone makes) dialed up his friend Scott Carter. They quickly began planning the groundwork for the “Ultimate Tribute Band to Tribute Bands” which in essence is just a band that plays a few songs from every tribute band or more commonly known as a cover band, but they like how the first one sounds! Anyways, they formed OCD in the spring of 2012 featuring members from Reality Check (Steve-O, Jason, and ½ Scott) and The Push (Kenny, Jim, and ½ Scott) and Becky our Jager Machine in which OCD is her first band. If you’re not ifriends, hit him up on https://www.facebook.com/THE.STEVE.O.ROCKS or he will put FREEBIRD in the next setlist!
